1. Brief Descriptions

The cooling stave is one of the most important devices/equipment for blast furnace proper, undertaking crucial tasks of protecting furnace shell, cooling and supporting refractory materials, as well as maintaining a reasonable furnace shape. Based on the working principle and failures, Shilin has adopted unique casting technologies to ensure mechanical properties of the parent material, bending forming quality of water cooling pipe, and anti-carburization effect. At the same time, multiple patents and technological achievements have been adopted, significantly enhancing the cooling performance and internal& external qualities. Under normal operations, our products can fully meet the service life of one BF generation.

2. Characteristics of Gray Iron Cooling Staves

This type has simple structure and good thermal conductivity, and mainly used in bottom, cylinder and upper part of furnace body.

3. Technical Features of Shilin’s Cooling Staves

The cooling staves of Shilin adopts solid wood mold with its own core template resin sand molding process, combined with multiple core technologies such as nano anti-carburizing coating technology for seamless steel pipes, multi-inoculation technology, and non-welding fixation technology, can ensure all indicators: chemical compositions, mechanical properties, core pert performances, installation dimensions, anti-carburization effects of steel pipe, air gap between steel pipe and the body, positions of steel pipe, ball passing test, and water pressure test etc to meet or exceed the requirements of national industry standards.
